Terrain: Very rough granite. Prepare to scour your hiking boots if scaling this chasm. The Devil's Coachroad is a deep chasm on the face of Slieve Beg and it is thought that the name originated in the folklore of the area.
Although hiking up the chasm is possible it is quite steep so be warned. I have never attempted to hike down it but my fear of heights may be to blame.
